Caredove is a browser based application, so no software installation is required. Because it’s built using web standards, Caredove runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android or any other device with a modern web browser.
Caredove supports the current and first previous major releases of the following browsers:
Chrome
Firefox
Edge
Safari
You should always use the most current version of your preferred browser. Your browser will notify you if there is a new version available.
JavaScript
JavaScript must be enabled to run Caredove.
Cookies
Cookies must be enabled for Caredove to work properly for logged-in users. For details on how Caredove uses cookies, see our Cookie Policy.
Browser Plugins and Extensions
Some browser plugins or extensions may conflict with Caredove and affect functionality. If you experience behaviour that does not allow you to work properly in Caredove, please ensure you have disabled any extensions or plugins that interact directly with your web browser.
For troubleshooting, consider logging in to Caredove using an incognito or private browser window. This provides a browser session without any prior browsing or search history, associated browser cookies, or other factors that may interfere with the browser. If you are able to use Caredove normally in an incognito or private browser window, the behaviour you are experiencing is likely related to the browser and not Caredove.
Browser Privacy Settings
To ensure browser security, follow all browser security policies established by your organization, especially if you are using Caredove on a computer provided by your organization. Caredove only connects via HTTPS using TLS 1.2 or higher, which is supported by all current browsers by default.
Software
To download referrals, users can copy and paste a custom output, or download as a PDF (a PDF reader is required). APIs are also available for integration with other software solutions.
Display
Caredove pages are designed to work on any screen size, including mobile and tablets.
Mobile
Caredove is tested with the latest mobile based browsers on both iOS and Android mobile devices. The following browsers are supported:
Safari
Chrome
Firefox
Pro Tip: If Caredove starts to load slowly or shows a "page cannot be displayed" error, try clearing your cookies and cache and refreshing the page. If you're still having trouble, contact us using the messenger on bottom right of every screen.
