Enable Non-Booked Referrals

Learn how to enable receiving non-booked referrals at your organization

Ideally, all referrals include an appointment booking, but sometimes this may not be possible and you want to accommodate allowing a non-booked referral. You can turn on non-booked referrals for specific services.

To enable non-booked referrals for specific services:

  1. Navigate to Settings and select Referrals from the drop down. 

  2. Scroll to the service table found at the bottom, find your desired services, and click the pen icon to edit the service. 

  3. Select Yes under the Referrals (Non-Booked) Enabled column. 

This also needs to be configured on the service listing page itself.

  1. Navigate to the service listing you'd like non-booked referrals to be enabled for.

  2. 'Edit' the service listing.

  3. Scroll down to the eReferral Information section and select 'Direct + Booked Referrals' as the referral method.

Note: If you do not have a Caredove Calendar, all your referrals will be Non-Booked. Contact Caredove to enable a calendar.
