💡 How to use the Add-on Appointment feature

  1. When you’re viewing a referral, select the Add-on Appointment button

  2. Choose the additional service this new appointment is for.

  3. Select from available appointment times to book the client.

  4. Review the confirmation screen to see the confirmed appointment.

Note: This automatically creates a new referral linked to the original one, so the two stay connected.

🔗 Where do I find the linked referrals?

Once the Add-on Appointment is booked:

  • You’ll see a “Child Referrals” section at the bottom of the original referral.

  • This shows the connection between the original and any follow-up appointments created through the Add-on flow.

  • You'll also be able to view the referral in your referral inbox or calendar wherever the referral is booked

🔄 When should I use Add-on Appointment?

This tool is perfect when a client needs to book another appointment or access another service that you offer. Common examples include:

  • Referring to another program you run, especially if it has its own intake process (e.g., a different group, workshop, or therapy stream).

  • Scheduling a follow-up session, such as another counselling appointment.

  • Booking into a separate virtual workshop the client is interested in.

✅ Why use Add-on Appointment?

  • Saves time—no need to manually re-enter client data.

  • Keeps referrals organized—linked referrals make tracking services easier.

  • Improves client experience—makes transitions between services smoother and faster.

If you’re offering multiple services and want a seamless way to move clients between them, Add-on Appointment is the tool for the job.
