📧 The Email Highlight Section is a customizable feature that appears in both confirmation and reminder emails. It allows you to add important service information, resources, or instructions—ensuring clients are well-prepared for their appointments.

✅ How it works

When enabled, the Email Highlight Section appears as a special callout in the body of automated emails. You can personalize this section using the following fields:

🔤 Title

Default: “Additional Information”

  • Appears as a heading in the highlight box.

  • Keep it short and descriptive (e.g., “Pre-Visit Instructions” or “Video Resource”).

📝 Content

  • This is the main message area.

  • Use it to provide key details or instructions—such as filling out a questionnaire, bringing documents, or reviewing a video.

  • Can support bilingual messaging (e.g., English and French in the same message).

    • Example:

“Please complete this questionnaire before your upcoming visit.”

“SVP lire au complet pour s’assurer que vous êtes prêts pour ce rendez-vous.”

    • Contact our team if you have questions about adding bilingual messages

🔘 Action Button Text

  • Customize the call-to-action (CTA) that appears as a clickable button.

  • Keep it clear and action-oriented (e.g., “Start Questionnaire” or “Watch Video”).

🌐 Action Button Link

  • Paste the full URL into the Action Button Link field.

  • We always recommend sending yourself a test email after adding this so you can test the button functionality.

💡 Best practices for using this feature

  • Prep clients efficiently: Indicate what they need prior to the appointment such as documents, link to pre-visit questionnaires, or instructional videos.

  • Market your services: Add elevator pitches about your service, links to promotional videos, or multilingual content.

  • Avoid confusion: Use clear, concise text and include fallback instructions in case a link doesn’t work.

🖼 Example Use Cases

✅ Link to a pre-visit questionnaire

Content: “Please complete this additional questionnaire before your upcoming appointment.”

Button: “Start Questionnaire” → [Caredove Form]

🎥 Share a resource video

Content: “Click the link below to view the video about our smoking cessation program.”

Button: “Watch Now” → [Website link to video PDF or hosted page]

🌐 Provide multilingual instructions

Content: “Please read this message completely to ensure you’re ready for your visit. / SVP lire au complet pour s’assurer que vous êtes prêts pour ce rendez-vous.”
