What is a Network? In Caredove, a Network is a group of Organizations that might service a geographical area or represent a series of societies or branches. Alzheimer Society of Simcoe Muskoka might be enrolled in the Alzheimer Society network, Alzheimer Society Ontario network and the Muskoka and Surrounding Area network. North Hamilton Community Health Centre might only find itself in the Hamilton Community Services network. There is no limit on how many networks an Organization can be a part of.

What is a Network Listing Manager? This user role can:

  • View all services within the network

  • Add or edit services

  • Change each organization’s contact information, such as address, email or phone number

Who should be the Network Listing Manager? Caredove suggests that a manager, director, high-level coordinator, or executive assistant hold this role. As this person edits services from a variety of organizations, they should be familiar with the whole Network, including which Organizations align, those respective employees, and services/programs offered. We recommend having 1 or 2 Network Listing Managers.

What is a Network Administrator? This user role can:

  • Run reports across the network

  • View all services within the network

  • Add or edit services

  • Change each organization’s contact information, such as address, email or phone number

  • Adjust organizational settings

  • Invite Organization Administrators to Organizations within the network

  • Assign permission for others roles at Organizations, however, this should be done rarely. Organization Administrators should be responsible for inviting their own staff.

Who should be the Network Administrator? Caredove suggests that a manager, director, or high-level coordinator hold this role. As this person invites Organization Administrators from a variety of organizations, they should be familiar with the whole Network, including which Organizations align, and services/programs offered. They need to know who and when to invite others to Caredove. We recommend having 1 or 2 Network Administrators. Network Administrator is a Premium Role.
